A DISCIPLESHIP FOCUSED SERVICE AND LEGACY TRIP

For students currently in the 11th and 12th grades (and their leaders)!

Our hope and desire is to build a legacy of students that are involved in our community, and provide moments to pass the torch to young students stepping into leadership.

The mission of Grace Bible Church is to empower a movement of people to live and love like Jesus. On this discipleship focused service and legacy trip we will travel to Hume Lake for a long weekend. Early Thursday morning the team will depart GBC for Hume Lake. Thursday and Friday will involve serving the Hume Lake Christian Camp’s ministry through raking, splitting wood, campus beautification and a potential to collaborate on the summer set. In the evenings, after our daily service, the team will participate in a chapel service held by the camp, then split off to a time of fire pit reflection. The goal of this reflection time is to empower young leaders and enable incoming seniors to step into leadership roles within GBC’s ministry. On Saturday, the plan is to depart campus and camp on OHV trails to the east of Hume Lake, in Sequoia National Forest and head back home on Monday. Throughout this time, we will spend time reflecting on what it means to imitate Christ, how to achieve the way of Kingdom living outlined in the sermon on the mount, and step faithfully into the lives of the other team members and create a supportive, Christ centered community.
Total Cost: $100
To reserve your spot, you will need to pay a $25 non-refundable deposit. Students may use Serve Account balances for this trip!
