KIDS MINISTRIES

WELCOME!

At Grace Bible Church, we are intentional about making Sunday mornings enjoyable, fun, and exciting for your kids! We have great leaders who care deeply for your sons and daughters and our team is ready to take this ministry to the next level — this means developing deeper and more intentional partnership with you as parents. WHAT TO EXPECT

Every Sunday at 11am we have in-person worship gatherings for kids (0-6th grade). We have partnered with Orange Curriculum to encourage our discipleship strategy — helping young people love God and others from birth through graduation.

Classrooms open at 10:45am! When you arrive on campus, check your kids in at one of our check-in kiosks
  • Our BABIES & TODDLERS meet in the nursery classroom by the New Family check-in station.
  • Our PRESCHOOLERS & KINDERGARTENERS meet down the hall from the worship center.
  • Our 1ST-3RD GRADERS meet in our Gym.
  • Our 4TH-6TH GRADERS meet in the High School Room of our Student Center.

We have a team of consistent adult and student volunteers each week with the kids. Every one of our volunteers remains current on background checks and has completed a thorough training process.
New to Grace Bible Church? We’re glad you’re here! We encourage you to fill out our New Family Information Form prior to arriving and to look for one of our team members wearing a “kids” shirt for help. We will answer any questions you may have and show you where the drop off locations are!
Do you love Jesus and love kids? We encourage you to fill out our Confidential Volunteer Application to start the conversation! There are many different volunteer opportunities at Grace Bible Church, from being inside the classroom directly with kids to prepping crafts at home.

Where is check-in? Check-in is available near the entrance by parking lot B (back terraced lot). There are self check-in stations along the wall, or look for one of our team members wearing a “kids” shirt for help.

What is the check-in process?
- Check-in at a station using your phone number.
- Confirm that the drop off child is listed accurately.
- Print out your child(s) name tag(s). There will be 3 stickers (2 name tags and 1 security tag).
- One name tag goes on your child.
- One name tag goes on the clipboard at their drop off location.
- Hold onto the security tag which you will need to show at pick up.
- Walk your child(s) to their drop off location(s).

What is our well child policy? We ask that if your child is sick that you keep them at home! Only check your child in if all the following are true:
- Your child has not had a fever of 100 degrees or higher in the past 24 hours.
- Your child is not experiencing shortness of breath, diarrhea, vomiting, a sore throat, a productive cough, or a green runny nose.
- In the last 3 days, your child has not been exposed to lice or any other contagious disease.

How do I pick up my child after class? You will pick up your child at the same place you dropped them off. You will need to show your security label in order for your child to be released to you.

WHAT’S HAPPENING

It’s just a phase…so don’t miss it!

Each phase of a kid’s life provides specific challenges and opportunities we want to engage together — to meet you and your kids right where you are. We want to make sure we’re asking the most significant questions for kids according to their age and stage, and challenge them to trust Jesus into their futures with all their heart, soul, and strength. We deeply want to help you win at home the rest of the week as well, providing simple and effective parenting cues on a consistent basis.

BABY

The phase when nobody sleeps, everybody smells, and a mesmerizing baby convinces you, “I need you now.”

TODDLER

The phase when nobody’s on time, everything’s a mess, and an eager toddler will insist, “I can do it.”

PRESCHOOL

The phase when anything can be imagined, everything can be a game, and a curious preschooler wants to know, “Why?”

Kindergarten & FIRST Grade

The phase when unfiltered words make you laugh, school drop off makes you cry, and life becomes a stage where your kids shout, “Look at me!”

SECOND & THIRD Grade

The phase when fairness matters most, differences get noticed, and your enthusiastic kid thinks anything “sounds like fun.”

FOURTH & FIFTH Grade

The phase when friends are best friends, games are for competition, and your confident kid will insist, “I’ve got this.”

SIXTH Grade

The phase when there’s never enough groceries, too many hormones, and a dramatic kid that needs someone to prove, “who cares.”

Nursery

We will step alongside you as you incite wonder so your babies and toddlers will know God’s love and meet God’s family. As a parent of a baby or toddler, your role is to embrace their physical needs. It’s just a phase…so don’t miss it!

PRE-K

We will step alongside you as you incite wonder so your preschoolers will know God’s love and meet God’s family — and so your kindergarteners will trust God’s character and experience God’s family.

As a parent of a preschooler, your role is to embrace their physical needs — and as a parent of a kindergartener, your role is to engage their interests. It’s just a phase…so don’t miss it!

Elementary (1st-3rd Grade)

We will step alongside you as you provoke discovery so your 1st-3rd graders will trust God’s character and experience God’s family. As a parent of a 1st grader, 2nd grader, and or 3rd grader, your role is to engage their interests. It’s just a phase…so don’t miss it!

PRE-Teen (4th-6th Grade)

We will step alongside you as you provoke discovery so your 4th-5th graders will trust God’s character and experience God’s family — and so your 6th graders will own their own faith and value a faith community.

As a parent of a 4th-5th grader, your role is to engage their interests — and as a parent of a 6th grader, your role is to affirm their personal journey. It’s just a phase…so don’t miss it!
