Fascinating Stories of Forgotten Lives
Author: Charles R. Swindoll
Leader: Amy Ernst
Childcare not provided
Homework per week: 1-2 hours
In this eighth volume of the bestselling Great Lives from God's Word series by Chuck Swindoll, he examines little-remembered Bible characters and events. The Old Testament contains numerous fascinating stories of forgotten lives--unsung heroes whose actions, sacrifices, or battles failed to ascribe them worldly renown. These great lives, however, reveal significant people whom God honors in the pages of His Word and, therefore, they deserve our serious attention and emulation.

Somehow life has taught us poorly. We're trained to think that the most significant people are star athletes, actors, and musicians--the ones we applaud, those whose autographs we seek, or those who have worldly fame. But Swindoll teaches us that most often, the people worth noting are those who turn from a 'nobody' into a 'somebody' but never receive credit. Fascinating Stories of Forgotten Lives reminds us of a core truth: success in God's kingdom and in the church depends upon faithful people the public rarely knows.
Discover biblical principles and practical applications for living so that you can be who you are in God's estimation . . . a person of true significance. Would you rather be a person of significance or a person of prominence? Think carefully! The answer to that question will shape your entire future.

We will be meeting on Tuesday evenings in the Prayer Room to share what we learned about the characters, how the Lord spoke to us through the material, and how our understanding of Scripture changed. We will only cover 6 of the 13 characters in the book. There is no video to watch - this is an opportunity to connect through discussion and help each other grow in Christ.

Heaven
Author: Jennifer Rothschild
Leader: Julie Adams-Nearman

April 16th through May 28th

Homework per week: 1-2 hours

Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next for ourselves and for those we love? Discover answers to some of your deepest and most pressing questions about Heaven. In this video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on myths, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn that, by faith, it is our unseen reality that makes all we see here beam with real, unshakeable hope. Your eternal perspective can help you see beyond this day, this problem, and this situation. This completed study will become a practical resource for you and the people you love.

Let’s not just wonder about Heaven—together, let’s embrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace!
Joshua - Every Good Promise
Author: Jen Wilkin
Leader: Kim San Jule and Donna Jeffries

April 16th through June 18th*
Note: Childcare may not be available after May 28th

Homework per week: 2 hours

Description:
“None of the good promises the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed. Everything was fulfilled.” Joshua 21:45

The book of Joshua beautifully displays God’s unwavering faithfulness to His covenant promises. As leadership transitions from Moses to Joshua, the people of Israel step across the Jordan River into the long-awaited Promised Land. Though the battles ahead will stretch their strength and courage, God’s promises remain sure. Joshua’s obedience and leadership ultimately point us forward to the perfect faithfulness of Christ.

In this 10-session, verse-by-verse study, Jen Wilkin invites us to see that God’s commands—even the difficult ones—are rooted in His steadfast love. Israel’s journey mirrors our own. While we do not fight physical battles for land, we contend daily against the world, the flesh, and the devil. Like Israel, we are called to courageous trust—not in ourselves, but in the finished work of the true and better Joshua, Jesus Christ.

It is so much more than a passage of comfort for our final moments; it is a vibrant promise of confidence for the here and now. Description:
Sweet sister, you are cordially invited to the quiet beauty of the vineyard. In our 8-week discipleship journey, The Abiding Life: A Journey Through the True Vine, we are making space for deep roots and spiritual flourishing. Whether you are looking for a mentor to walk beside you or feel called to pour into another, this is a sacred invitation to trade the weariness of striving for the joy of abiding in Christ.

Discipleship is the grace of "No Woman Walks Alone." We will study God’s Word side-by-side, learning that we aren't meant to grow in isolation. As the Master Gardener tends to our hearts, we will discover how vulnerability leads to holy confidence and how staying connected to the Vine produces lasting fruit.
Will you join us in the rows of grace? Come as you are, with your questions and your desire for more of Him. Let’s walk through these eight weeks together, rooted in the same soil and sustained by the same Spirit. We can’t wait to see what the Lord will grow in our lives as we learn to truly abide.
