Triumph
Mark 11:1-11 Jesus enters the city of Jerusalem by prophecy and God’s plan. They hail him but he knows that in mere hours their expectations will not be realized. What do we expect from Jesus? When it doesn’t go according to plan, how do we respond? The people cried “Hosanna” which means “save us.” Their disappointment was cemented in their pain and hopelessness from Roman occupation. Jesus will set them free from the ultimate occupation of their hearts. What is your Hosanna today? Cry it out to him!!
