The Feast Of The Father
A feast is something to experience, it is something that is individual and is costly. We are all invited by the finished work of Jesus, but the Father isn’t going to force us in. What kind of people would we be if we could almost taste the feast, almost feel the father's kiss upon our necks. We would live confidently, no fear, we would love even at a cost and we would never lose hope even during hard times. This sermon is a celebration of what the Father has done, and sets the tone for a future hope that is beyond our wildest dreams. Isa 25 – On this mountain the Lord will prepare a feast for all peoples…on that mountain he will swallow up death forever. Matthew 8 – Many will come and sit down at the feet of the kingdom of heaven. This is our future.
