Action: We Want Everyone Doing Something for Others
Mat 22; I Pet 1:13; Col 1:29; I Cor 12: When people are being transformed they will take action. Jesus called his first followers and empowered them with a vision of a new community that he will teach and inspire that will change the world. Throughout Jesus' disciple making journey, he gave them things to do and envisioned that they would work the kingdom into everything they did. The Great Commission and the Great Commandment require action. It won’t happen if we don’t take action. Paul, in I Cor. 12, describes a community of people where everyone is engaged. He calls us a body that needs all its parts. Everyone is needed, everyone belongs.
