welcome to awana @ gbc!
In order to be safe and abide by the request to “Shelter in Place” to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus, Awana at GBC has been cancelled for the 2019-2020 year. Thanks to our Awana helpers who have been generously offering their time to listen to kids scripture verses so they can stay on track to complete their handbook.
Kids matter to God and they also matter to us. If we are able to gather at Grace Bible Church in the fall, the 2020-2021 Awana year will begin on Tuesday, September 15. Registration dates will be Sunday(s) September 6 & 13 between and after services and Tuesday, September 8 from 6:15-8:00 p.m. The All Awana Staff Meeting will be held on Monday, September 14 at 6:15 p.m. Please contact me if you are interested in helping us build the next generation of believers.
After much “Being still and know that I am God” time and prayer, Trek and Journey will not be returning in the fall. Several key staff in Trek and Journey will not be returning in the fall. Students who desire to continue the required years and lessons to achieve the Citation Award can complete handbooks by using the C-Track process through Awana Headquarters at https://awanaym.org/c-track. Leaders will be available to review and sign their completed work.
We are looking forward to families partnering with us to share in our vision that kids and youth come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ in your church, community and around the world.
